The Project
DAO Maker is a DAO-based system that allows affiliate users to invest in startups safely. It is a fast-growing project that helps create a technology framework for startups to grow and launch, while reducing the risk for investors. The market capitalization of companies raised using DAO Maker is growing, and investors who have registered on the platform so far have been rewarded with a convenient, user-friendly ecosystem.
DAO Maker smart contract audits by SmartState
DAO Maker is our long-standing client. We’ve already conducted a bunch of audits for DAO Maker in 2021. This year (in March and July) DAO Maker approached SmartState for new audits of their smart contracts for possible vulnerabilities or errors, which could lead to project failures.
We’ve carried out several tests of smart contracts and the platform architecture regarding best code practices or, on the other hand, various issues, including:
• ERC20/BEP20 compliance
• Logical bugs
• Private data leaks
• Weak PRNG
• Unused vars
• DOS (General Denial of Service)
• Hidden malicious code
• Short address/parameter attack
and others, which could do harm and lead to possible failures.
13/03/22 DAO Maker Smart Contract Audit
We’ve tested the FARM.SOL contract structure and did not discover any major vulnerabilities. There were some minor issues, however, so we proposed a list of suggestions.

This time we’ve tested SHOVESTING.SOL and didn’t find critical vulnerabilities, still we’ve added a list of helpful recommendations for gas usage optimization and some other topics.
