Cryptosnake game platform gets audited by Smart State

Cryptosnake is a play-to-earn game that is based on the classic “Snake” game of the 2000s. This game, if you recall, was a totally addictive game and with Cryptosnake, users are incentivized to play the game through the platform’s DeFi and NFT functionalities.

The Cryptosnakes game has been developed such that while the platform token — SNK — is a digital asset, the game objects, including artifacts and the snakes themselves, are non-fungible tokens (NFT). This allows players to buy or sell these NFTs on the marketplace, thereby allowing users to earn money.

Smart State performed Cryptosnake’s comprehensive security audit.

The Cryptosnake game token (SNK) is based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchain, this blockchain is often used in play-to-earn games platforms.

In order to ensure the safety and security of digital assets (SNK) within the DeFi ecosystem of the Cryptosnake game platform, a security audit of its smart contracts was vital. Smart State was tasked with conducting the audit.

Our tasks were manifold, but the two aspects that we usually focus on are a) whether the platform adheres to compliance with ERC20 or BEP20 standards, and b) the presence of issues like leaks, gaps, and vulnerabilities in the code that may lead to hacks and attacks. A brief list of our tasks -

After careful testing of smart contract codes, we did not detect any vulnerabilities. The code was well-written keeping in mind current best practices and adhering to industry standards. There were a few minor issues that were easily resolvable. We submitted the audit report with a list of recommendations. Our expert team suggested changes and the Cryptosnakes dev team quickly made them in order to address the issues.
